Exabyte VXA X Tape Media

Posted on August 10th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

Regular backup routine is required by the small & mid sized enterprises for their servers. Creating backup of key files is very important because there should be a backup of data incase the hard drive of the server may crash or any other incident could take place that can damage the valuable data. Copying critical data to compact disk every now and then is not an effective solution. The company will have to bear the cost of thousands of dollars to resurrect their critical data if there is no backup data available. The enterprises can use a second hard drive in the server that can serve the purpose of data backup, but the organizations depend on backup tape medium that is more reliable and cost efficient than hard drives. The data tape cartridges can be stored off-site and easily transported.

It’s That Pink Time Of Year Again

Posted on June 6th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

By now, hardly anyone is unaware of the fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (and that the symbol is a pink ribbon). It all began in 1985, when the two founding members of NBCAM (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month) spent a week distributing brochures, talking to reporters, and testifying before a congressional committee about the need for easy access to mammography.

The Changing Use Of Ink Cartridge

Posted on June 5th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

The use of ink has come a long way from the old ink bottle and fountain pen. Many people reading this article will be too young to remember the old school desk with the hole in the top right hand corner for the ink bottle. One of the ostensibly "beautiful" things about a pregnancy is that the woman starts to go through a series of changes both physical and emotional. When these moments, along with the beautiful moments, come along consider your printer as a lifeline when celebrating or avoiding a moment.

When I need to print a word document or a photo, I, and I think like most, reach for the paper borrowed from your place of employment at the time, proceed to stick it in the paper tray of my inkjet printer and let it rip, right? However, am I doing the right thing by using just any old paper that I have on hand?

MacBook Air

Posted on January 10th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

There was a lot of fuss around the new MacBook presented at the recent Apple keynote, but I’m still considering the pros and cons. Sure it’s slim ( 0.76-inch at its thickest ) and it has a nice 13.3-inch, widescreen display. But it's not dubbed “air†for nothing. The new MacBook relies heavily on its 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connections. Not only it doesn't have an UTP network port but it also lacks an optical unit ( to solve this Apple found a way to use another computer’s optical drive via wireless connection ).
